Course content

On completion of this programme, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the purpose of meetings and their role in achieving organisational objectives
  • Understand and define the roles and responsibilities of the various individuals involved in the meeting
  • Plan and prepare for meetings and understand the importance of accurate and appropriate documentation including agendas and minutes
  • Identify and practise the core skills involved in setting agendas and taking minutes
  • Understand the purpose of minutes and how to record them efficiently
  • Set out minutes in a clear, concise, and effective format using Microsoft word

  • Clinical and non-clinical staff in patient facing and administration roles

How is it delivered?

  • Via live, highly interactive tutor led Virtual Workshops using Teams or Zoom max 20 participants
  • Microphones and cameras required for the entire session
