- Investigate and understand the expectations which stakeholders have and how these can cause conflict and difficult behaviour
- Define the range of difficult behaviours with which they have to deal and examined the most common issues faced by staff
- Understand the nature of conflict
- Develop a range of personal strategies and techniques for coping assertively with difficult behaviour with patients and in the practice
- Defining emotional intelligence
- Identifying their own emotional intelligence
- Measuring emotional intelligence
- Practical strategies for integrating emotional intelligence in the workplace
